Artist Statement
My work is rooted in curiosity, feelings, and the things I experience and notice around me. I like playing with colour, texture, words, and different materials without always knowing exactly where a piece is going. For me, the process is just as important as the finished work.
Words often find their way into my paintings. They can come from something I’ve been through, a conversation, a thought, or simply something I want to remember. I like creating work that feels personal, playful, imperfect, and alive, while leaving space for someone else to find their own meaning in it.
My current collection, Create to Feed the Soul, is about returning to creating with freedom — making things because I feel the need to make them, without always knowing where they will lead.
